There is only decoration. I was not thinking about tightness, but shouldn’t be a problem with that. Type of wood: oak, finish: danish oil, time: about 5 days.

Treat yourself for a job well done and buy a new hand saw lol
For a first barrel, that is a very good piece of work. Keep going!
Looks great for decoration
Jest chociaż szczelna?
awesome that is such a great build.
Only thing missing was the river reeds that was supposed to go between the staves to give it a tight seal top and bottom. I have a 60 year old scottish 12 bander x500 litre monster i have been sanding it for 2 years now, never ending but good fun, Good job their!
Wybacz mi, że nie jestem świetny w tym języku, ale drewniane szpilki byłyby lepsze dla głowy. Nie chciałbym tam pić alkoholu
Well done. The product is beautiful.
You do great work. Btw, push with your legs, not your shoulders when using a plane. Just a suggestion.
put some mead in the barrel
Możesz podzielić się rysunkiem pojedynczej deski ?
Great job on a first barrel. I’m sure you gained great respect for the coopers of old and what an art it is to make a proper water tight barrel. Good show.

Who loves hard work will give you like
really cool. it doesn't look like it will hold water though. nice to see it done without power tools.. it might come down to this some day.
10:40 where are those burnmarks are from? High RPM hand plane?
There will be a lot of "Angels Share" …..
😂😂😂😂
tooo complex! you should not use the glue…
Great!
Greetings from Greece!!
Hang on, hang on its been a pleasure watching you make this barrel, but is it water tight?
I checked out your video for a purpose, does it work?
Great job keep the old skills alive
Now I realized how much I love my thickness planer 😀 Good job with this barrel 🙂
Either he did this in one day he sure loves that shirt
Great video.very few acomplished woodworkers would attempt a massive project like this one.A loabor of love .
Looks great ! There is an informative video by a cooper in England that shows how they are made water tight. By hand. I am sure you will not have trouble finding it.
Very impressive. Must have been quite a workout.:-)
greeat piopls
30,000 calories burned. 🙂
Impressive! I've been thinking of making one but probably gonna use some power tools. I hope it turns out as well as yours!
Witam.Świetna robota, pokazałeś jak przy pomocy prostych narzędzi można zrobić taką piękną beczkę.Pozdrawiam.
Where did you find the spigot/tap? Thx.
Why you burn the wood first?
Bravo!
As an apprentice cooper this is a very complex way off doing it haha good job though 🙂
Дякую! Дуже сподобалося.
Dyakuju. Duzhe spodobalosya. Choczet'sya sprobuwaty i sobi. Ty pokazaw, jak ce robyty z prostym instrumentom
Literally beyond my comprehension that you did this. Even WITH power tools, this would take me months…
DAAAMN! Looks amazing, what a cool job. Good for you.
Impressive work
JUST AWESOME! THank you for Inspiration!___)
What angle is used on each board for vertical placement?
This was amazing barrel , may I ask what kind of wood you used?
