How to make a fabric mat with yarn and handmade loom

In this video I have used one skein of white Bernat Blanket yarn. It is very soft and silky. I recommend the same size if you plan to make the same size loom. However you can use thinner yarn but make sure to draw smaller rectangle or use two skein. Also would be good idea to select colorful yarn. Even you can use two different color for weft and wrap.

  1. Wouldn't push pins be more stable then nails? Using nails I'd be unable to use much pressure without them popping out

  2. That was really good tutorial. These would make lovely place mats if made in some other colour. Thank you

  3. Very cool. I think a paperclip might work to pull it through that way you can grab it and unhook it quickly. Lovely.

  4. Güzel olmuş ellerinize sağlık beğendim (kanalima destek için lütfen abone olurmusunuz 🙏🙏🙏🙏)

  5. Why not just lead with the butt end of the hook until the hook is covered and then pull the yarn through? Beats having to separate and gather and then put in the hook and then pull the yarn through.

  6. У меня такой ткацкий станочек на деревянной раме, гвозди забиты не шуточные и то раскачиваются, приходится подбивать. А это игрушка для "мулине".
