Handmade Portraits: Lightexture

Yael Erel and Avner Ben Natan a.k.a. lightexture: http://www.etsy.com/shop/lightexture , work together as an architect and a lighting designer, to explore light through the construction of lighting fixtures. In their light construction they incorporate ready-made objects, lighting components and constructed elements. The lamps are fitted and assembled by hand in their studio. One oft their goals is to create energy efficient fixtures, while maintaining a focus on their atmospheric and spatial performance. This video is reflecting their intentions, their collaboration with a glimpse of their light.
