  1. Well done. I've often said that humanity has a lot of potential. But presently, the formula or equation we've come to live by, isn't working. A shift in our way of thinking needs to take place, and soon. And in more ways than one. Start focusing on our needs instead of our wants. Thank you, for being intelligent.

  2. If you do your research, theres no shortage of landfills, or room for landfills humans are actually really good waste management

  3. I like what she is making and that is all what matters. ETSY is making these videos, not the artists. So they are only talking about what is on their minds and hearts. How dare they express their true emotions.

No wonder people in American society don't express them selves. There are people right around the corner waiting to tear them down.

    Keep on keeping on!

  4. what a great video! love what she says at the end about so much of "trash" not being trash at all…just no longer serving it's original intended function..and how that's where our creativity comes into play! right on!! SUPER RAD–and what
    GORGEOUS chandeliers!!

  5. I have to say, who would think that one can make what you do out of bike parts, and i liked what you made.

  6. The monetary value of a piece of art rarely reflects the price of the raw materials, its the idea and message that add value….. $3000 wish I could afford one ! go Etsy make your passion a sustainable income for yourself

  7. I am kind a surprised at the comments someone made about recycling "has already been invented and that many people were recycling before it was cool". Well now it is cool and it has gathered momentum and focus because of artists like this young and inspired lady. Really please why are you recycling ? it seems like some badge of honor for you. We are all recyclers

  8. so, just a question, but what about taking those bicycles and repairing them to give to poor kids?

  9. Fantastic message, and I love the creation of these brilliant baroque pieces… so much so that I checked out a couple of the pieces… $3000+ each.

Does this price tag help with subverting the notions of wealth?

  10. Inspiring stuff. Wish we could start calling thrash ingredients or components instead of trash, merely to be thrown away. Naturally that also means obsolete products need to be more easily dismantled into useful parts.

  11. Says the girl who just throws out the work of an accomplished artist because he's not more self righteous than thou.
    Try Reality. It still works.
And I knew you wouldn't watch that video.

  12. You know what, She is preachy and you are an ass. I have been using recycled materials longer than she has been alive and have never felt the need to preach it to others. It's just what some people do. Many people were recycling way before it was cool. Now all of a sudden this generation thinks they invented it and by doing so they are helping mankind "evolve".
Do a search for Penn and Teller Bullsh t recycling. Here I did it for you. watch?v=CqyVmwcuvqQ nsfw
    "Virgin Potatoes" anyone?

  13. I couldn't agree more! This is such an important message. And the chandeliers are wonderful.

  14. She wasn't preaching – she was an artist speaking about her work – the how and why. Maybe check out Thomas Kinkade if you prefer less depth to your art.

  15. I like the work you are doing. One caveat, evolution of the human species is -not- a direction or path it is a result. If we humans create our own extinction then that -is- the evolution of the human species. If we as humans choose -not- to destroy ourselves then that will be evolution – the result of the human species. Evolution is referred to as the tree of life because each branch leads from the trunk and branches out where it terminates at the last step of evolution – extinction. Thanks
