James Peters of Armor Guitars loves what he does. To wake up every morning and head out to his shop in Springfield, TN is the “bee’s knees,” as James says.
The idea of studying lutherie didn’t come to James until later in life. He’d been a musician since he was a kid and worked various jobs throughout his life to support his bluegrass music career.
Etsy found Rob Kalin and videographer Tara Young aka weirdwolf headed to Springfield, TN to meet luthier James Peters and see where he creates his handmade guitars.

  1. great video. He seems to have found exactly what he should be doing in life and that's always amazingly inspiring to see.

  2. I love these portraits. It really makes me think I can do this. I can find that sweet spot where creating my life and my art are one and the same. I haven't been very successful at selling on Esty but I haven't put much time into it either. Guess I need to get busy.
