Handmade Money Box Gift

Hello and welcome to Badger Workshop. I wanted to make some gifts for the children in the family so I made a couple of handmade money boxes.

  1. Money boxes?? Surely should be credit card readers! 😀😀😀😀😀😀👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

  2. Nice job. I’m really curious how that table saw is shaping up and how long it lasts in your shop (given your table saw commitment-phobia for saws!!!) because the whine of an induction motor sounds much less awful than the SCREAM of my DeWalt 745. Looking forward to seeing a later review when you do one. Cheers

  3. Why on earth has this video got four thumb's down already! Why take time out of your day to diss someone else's efforts?
    Keep the projects coming Matt.

  4. I see what you did ther mate, built a money box and put bounty inside it. Smart guy, should have put smarties in b there too…lol

  5. i think chocolate makes everyone happy and the money boxes are so nice they are the prettiest ,you made an excellent job , always amazed by your work !!!!!

  6. Lovely looking boxes, they’ll be thrilled! I’ll admit that trimming down the top, bottom and splines on the band saw looked risky, but I can’t think of another way to do it…

  7. They're really nice Matt! I may even try to make these. And yes, i guessed it would be Danish oil – does always make the wood "pop" beautifully though

  8. Another excellent little project, looks great and I'm sure the kids will love watching the money build up. Well done 👏

  9. How can this have 2 dislikes, what is there to dislike? Handmade present Christmas presents not plastic crap, the thought and time gone in to these means far more

  10. Super gifts for the kids; I'm sure they will love them. The splines was a nice touch; really makes the boxes pop. Thanks for sharing your xmas ideas. All the best.

  11. But Uncle Matt! You've gone and spoiled the surprise now!

Seriously though, they look excellent, and I hope that they will be appreciated. I would certainly be thrilled to receive a handmade gift.

  12. The kids can sell the candy, fair trade … no badger workshop logo on top or bottom ?
How will the antique shop in fifty years know it was your work ?
