  1. I made a cute makeup bag based on your oil cloth (laminated cotton) bag tutorial. I used two pieces of different cottons and used fusible web to stick some felt between them for stability and quilted them a little. I used all three layers as if it were just one and followed your tutorial just the same. it turned out lovely and my daughter is going to gift it to her "big sister" on her cheer squad.

  2. Wonderful ideas! I think pillowcases are the perfect personalized gift – everyone uses them! My mom gave all of us kids and kid-in-laws pillowcases, so I'm always using pillows with Sailor Moon or the DC girls! And I've made her Captain America (who she loves!) and for her bday I just gave her a coast themed pillowcase. Just winged the pattern but I'll have to try yours next time! I'm not sure what I'm gonna do this year I always have high hopes and run out of time lol, plus 2 of my siblings live across country and overseas so I never know what they can take back in a suitcase! – thinking about doing some personalized kitchen towels by sewing scraps of fabric with a fun print as a boarder along the bottom. I also want to make the comic book letters from your tutorial if I have time for my niece and nephew and I'll post a pic on IG if I do! Are you making a lot of gifts for your family? I hope you, Jeremiah, and the girls have an amazing Christmas season! Thank you for always posting such wonderful videos 🙂

  3. I like to collect winter scarves from garage sales, thrift stores and dollar stores and sew them together to make fun throw blankets. Blankets are always handy to have and you can use the blankets to wrap up extra presents with too. 🙂

  4. Right now I am making Christmas nightgowns for some of my CPK dolls. I am planning on making a bed and some toys for my cats, cookies for my dog and some clothes for my grandson. I just finished a stuffed Snoopy Santa. I love Snoopy! I named my dog Snoopy Joe after him. Hoping I'll have time to make more stuff.

  5. I love the skirt!
I am sewing praying crosses for my community group. Simple cross with a little bit of rice inside to keep in your purse to pray anytime anywhere 😉

  6. I have a very ambitious list this year, but haven't started yet, so not sure how much I'll actually get done! I'd love to make my daughter a circle skirt, Barbie dresses, and doll diapers. In the past, I've made my three kids little doll versions of themselves, and would love to make doll versions of myself and my husband to complete the little doll family! First on my list is a little coloring tote for my neice, with the little pocket in the front for crayons. Need to get started! 🙂

  7. wonderful ideas!! for this Christmas i am making 44 drawstring bags (made from Olaf fabric) for my kids classes for school. I made them using your drawstring bag tutorial 🙂 I made some 2 years ago (using snowman fabric) when only one of my girls was in school and I have seen the kids at school still carry them around and keep their ice cream money in them, it warms my heart knowing that they love and appreciate them enough to still be using them 🙂 thank you for all your sewing tutorials! happy holidays from our family to yours!! 🙂
